| Abstract: | An analysis of a highly polymorphic region of the apolipoprotein B gene 3'-end DNA (Apo B 3'-VNTR), represented by 10 alleles, was carried out using the polymerase chain reaction. Data inferred from the principal component analysis indicate that the Udmurts occupy an isolated position among the populations constituting the northern branch of Caucasoid peoples. |
