Abstract: | Loblolly pine (Pinus taeda L.) seedlings were grown in sand culture and exposed to solution Al concentrations of 0, 5, 10, 20, 40, and 80 mg.l−1 in two separate studies. Root regeneration potential (RRP) of loblolly pine was found to be very sensitive to Al. Both the total number and total length of new white roots produced during a 24-day period declined with as little as 5 mg Al.l−1 in solution. |
