| Abstract: | Peroxidase-labeled baboon anti-Schistosoma mansoni gamma globulin was used to identify at the ultrastructural level the location of the Cercarienhüllen (CHR) antigen-antibody reaction. The peroxidase label was localized in the tegumental glycocalyx of the cercariae of S. mansoni. These data constitute further evidence that the glycocalyx of the cercaria serves as the reaction site for the CHR. |
