Growth rate, age and size of bonefish from the Gulf of California

Abstract:	Growth rates of cultured first-year bonefish Albula sp. averaged 0·32 mm day^?1. Maximum theoretical growth (±95% CI) was 278 (±11·2) mm L _S (sexes combined), confirming that Albula sp. from the Gulf of California grow less than other species in the' vulpes 'complex.
