Abstract: | Local cerebral blood flows were measured using the hydrogen clearance technique. This was found to be a satisfactory method.During hypothermia, maintenance of an FECO2 above 5% is accompanied by higher LCBF while the opposite occurs with hyperventilation to 3% FECO2. |
