Abstract: | Quercus tuitensis, a deciduous red oak known only from the Sierra El Tuito on the Pacific slopes of western Jalisco, Mexico, is described, illustrated, and compared toQ. praineana Trel. In addition,Q. aequivenulosa andQ. coffeaecolor are reaffirmed as synonyms ofQ. praineana. |
