| Abstract: | As early as 1 and 24 h following single local X-irradiation (0.21 C/kg) of rabbit hindlimbs an increase was noted in the permeability of skeletal muscle sarcoplasmic reticulum membranes for Ca2+, K+ and Na+. The effect was maximum 1 h after irradiation and more pronounced for K+ and Na+ than Ca2+. |
