Abstract:Eserine, BW 284c51 and neostigmine inhibit larval cholinesterase activity in vitro. Injection of eserine, neostigmine or metyrapone into feeding fifth instar larve had no effect on the normal onset of wandering. Eserine injection during the prepupal stage interfered with the development of the pupa.
