Abstract: | Abstract Two novel polyamines were found as major polyamines of Thermoleophilum album and Thermoleophilum minutum , which are Gram-negative eubacteria obligate for thermophily and n -alkane substrates. They were identified as tertiary branched tetraamines, N4-aminopropylnorspermidine ( tris (3-aminopropyl)amine) NH2(CH2)3N-((CH2)3NH2)(CH2)3NH2 or N(CH2CH2CH2NH2)3] and N4-aminopropylspermidine NH2(CH2)3N((CH2)3NH2)(CH2)4NH2] by high-performance liquid chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. |
