| Abstract: | When brassinolide was added at 17 ng l–1 to Taxus chinensis cell suspension cultures, the paclitaxel content was increased by over 100% to 580  g g–1 dry weight. Brassinolide may therefore be a novel regulator of paclitaxel biosynthesis. |
