Abstract:Chuaria Walcott,1899 is the earliest known macroalgae and have an extremely long geologic range.Chuaria circularis is the most important taxa found in the Zhaojiashan Biota,the Huainan Biota and the Xilingxia fauna.Some Chuaria circularis fossils occur in Series 3 of the Cambrian,representing the youngest known Chuaria and also one of the most important macroalgae of the Kaili Biota.The Chuaria circularis fossils from the Kaili Biota are black-brown carbonaceous films,circular to oval,outline clear,peripher...
