| Abstract: | The pH of the medium during the formation of liposomes by the cholate dialysis method affects their size. Liposomal size as measured by electron microscopy and volume equilibration is greatest if the dialysis step is carried out at pH 6 and decreases as the pH increases. The effect of liposome size on estimations of their incorporated choline carrier activity is illustrated. |
