Seed Treatment as a Means of Preventing Nematode Damage to Crop Plants |

| Abstract: | A procedure for treating crop seeds with aqueous solutions of the systemic nematicide oxamyl is described. Seedlings from treated seeds were more resistant to attack by parasitic nematodes. Leachate from treated seeds reduced the number of free-living nematodes in the surrounding soil. |
