Abstract: | Nocardioides sp. isolated from contaminated soil showed the presence of sulphur oxidizing (SO) genes in the plasmid pSB1 (34·2 kb). The presence of SO genes was confirmed by transformation to a plasmid-free Pseudomonas putida strain followed by hybridization studies. |
