Abstract: | Verapamil was administered 30 days to adult male rats in a dose of 2 mg/rat per day and the calcium ionophore A 23187 to another group in a dose of 10 micrograms/rat per day. After verapamil, the bone calcium and phosphorus concentration rose significantly compared with the control group, whereas after ionophore A 23187 the bone calcium concentration fell statistically significantly. |
