Abstract: | ![]() An account is given of the ultra-microscopic structure of trophozoites and cysts of E. invadens.Unusual features of the organization of this cell are the electron dense particles which are dispersed in the trophozoite and aggregated in the cysts. These are identified as chromatoid bodies, which at high magnification show a crystalline structure. |
