Abstract:Rats were used as an experimental model of exercise in exhausting swimming.Heart mitochondrial malonialdehyde (MDA) contents were observed with TBA reaction. Heart mitochondrial membrane surface potential were determined with the fluoresenoe technique using 1, 8-ANS as a probe. Mitoehondrial free Ca2+ were investigated with the fluoresence technique using Fura-2 AM as the Ca2+ indicator.Mitochondrial total Ca2+ contents were observed with atomic absorption spectro scopy. Eeart mitochondrial ATP synthesis activity were determined with bioluminesence method. After exhausting swimming, mitochondrial MDA were eignificantly elevated. Mitochondrial membrane surface potential and mitochondrial free Ca2+ were signifieantly decreased. Mitochondrial total Ca2+ contents were significantly increased. Heart mitochondrial ATP synthesis activity were significantly depressed.
