| Abstract: | Diseases caused by prion is also called transmissible spongiform encephalopathy(TSE), which is a fatal central nervous system disease of human and animal, and threatens our health heavily.The PrPSC,protein of prion, is the key factor of this disease. The recent progress of TSE's pathogenesis mechanism,diagnosis technique and defense strategy are also reviewed. |
