| Abstract: | Galls induced by six species of Lixinae weevils from Ukrainian steppes are described. The gall formation by Larinus species is doubtful. One gall may in some cases be jointly occupied by different weevil species. The adaptive significance of gall formation in Lixinae is discussed. |
