Abstract: | A technique based on growing plants under controlled conditions in a glasshouse has been evolved which demonstrates within a minimum period of 5 weeks whether or not a given area of land is contaminated with Plasmodiophora brassicae . The technique also facilitates estimation of the degree to which a soil sample is contaminated. |
