External features of the puparium, larvae and egg of the Queensland fruit fly, Dacus (Bactrocera) tryoni (Froggatt) were studied by scanning electron microscopy and significant morphological characters are described and illustrated. Cephalopharyngeal skeletons are described from examination by light microscopy. |
