Abstract: | ![]() Both tetralete and trilete spores have been found in New Zealand material of A. hispidulum Swartz. The rare tetralete spores are associated with the occurrence of spore pentads and hexads (post meiosis), and have the same sculptural pattern (finely pitted) as the trilete spores but are smaller with laesurae being often less distinct. |
