A simple apparatus for pressure-filtering water samples in the field is described. It is used in conjunction with the low pressure outlet of a standard regulator attached to an aqualung. The apparatus is useful in situations where electricity to run electric vacuum pumps is not available and is superior to conventional hand vacuum pumps. |
