| Abstract: | Electron microscopy of DNA gyrase holoenzyme, of gyrase A subunits, and of the complexes of both species with DNA enables us to deduce the relative locations of subunits in the holoenzyme and to indicate a plausible path for DNA complexed with gyrase. The structural results are discussed in terms of certain models for directional DNA strand transport. |
