| Abstract: | Hydroacoustic data indicate that the benthic red crab Pleuroncodesplanipes(Stimpson, 1860) rises from the bottom towards the surfaceat dusk from very compacted patches settled on the continentalshelf. The behaviour is fast and abrupt, lasting >60 min. |
