| Abstract: | An undescribed, ascogenous, filamentous yeast species has been recovered from the ectosymbiontic fungal flora associated with xylomycetophagous Scolytoidea infesting indigenous trees along the North Coast of Natal and the South Coast of the Cape Province. A description of the new species is given. |
