TWO NEW SPECIES AND ONE NEW RECORD OF THE GENUS TAHARANA NIELSON (HOMOPTERA:CICADELLIDAE: COELIDIINAE)

The genus Taharana was established by Dr. Nielson in 1982, which is mainly distributed in the Oriental Region. Mr. Li Zizhong (1991 ) and the first author (1990) of this paper respectively reported 10 new species and one new record from China there after. Two new species and one new record of the genus are reported in this paper, i.e. Taharana bicuspidata, T.yinggenensis spp. n. and the record T. serrata Nielson. All the specimens studied are kept in the insect Collection of the Institute of Zoology, Academ ia Sinica (Beijing ) except the holotype of the species Taharana bicugidata, which is deposited in the Collection of the Entomological Museum, Northwestern Agricultural University (Yangling, Shaanxi).
