Abstract: | ![]() Color vision was tested as part of a study of micro-evolution in three historically-related populations in Mexico. The frequencies of color vision anomalies fall within the range observed for contemporary Latin American populations. The present findings do not support the previously proposed hypothesis concerning the relaxation of selective forces in agricultural and urban populations. |
