| Abstract: | Amaranthus powellii S. Watson subsp. cacciatoi (Aellen ex Cacciato) Iamonico comb. et stat. nov. (Amaranthaceae) is proposed based on morphometric and taxonomic studies on the type material and other specimens. A detailed description is provided and the new taxon is compared with A. powellii S. Watson subsp. powellii and subsp. bouchonii (Thell.) Costea & Carretero. |
