Abstract: | ABSTRACT Cardamine battagliae Cesca & Peruzzi sp. nova is related to Cardamine heptaphylla (Vill.) O. E. Schulz. (2n = 48). On the other hand, the new species is well distinguished both from a morphological and karyological point of view. Because of its distribution and high ploidy level (2n = ca. 160) C. battagliae can be considered as a new apoendemic taxon. Morphological and karyological data are presented and discussed. |
