摘    要:喂饲高脂高胆固醇饮食是诱发实验性动脉粥样硬化(简称AS)的基本方法。在诱发AS过程中,血清脂质的改变不但有种属差异,也存在个体反应性的差异。猴是用于AS研究最理想的实验动物。喂以高胆固醇饮食后,有些猴血清胆固醇上升速度明显高于一般同种猴,称高反应猴(High-responding rhesus monkey);另一些猴的血清胆固醇上升十分缓慢,低于同种猴的一般反应速度,称低反应猴(Low-responding rhesusmonkey)。关于高反应猴(简称HI)及低反应猴(简称LO)在诱发AS过程中血清胆固醇反应的差别,国外已有报道。(Baker et al.,1981;Bhattacharyya et al.,1977;

Abstract:The response of serum cholesterol todietary cholesterol varies not only among species of animals but also among individuals of the same species. The Rhesus monkey is no exception to this phenomenon. When we fed high-fat, high-cholesterol diet to 22 young Rhesus monkeys, they developed hypercholes-terolemia with large variability. The mean serum cholesterol for the 22 animals was 324 * 159mg/dl, whereas the mean for individual animal rang from 128 to 522mg/dl. From the 22 animals referred to above, the five with highest serum cholesterol (rang 421-522mg/dl, mean 457mg/dl) and five with lowest (rang 128-189mg/dl, mean 160mg/dl) were selected for the study and were referred to here as the high-responding (HI) and low-responding monkeys. The mean serum cholesterol, cholesterol ester, tolal fat concentrations were statistically signifficantly greater in the HI group campared with the LO group during the high-cholesterol diatary peroid. The mean high density lipoprotein (HDLc) concentrations in HI group were decreased continuously while the HDLc in LO group were increased instead during this period. The mean serum phospholipid, free fatty acid and triglycerol concentrations were similar in HI and LO groups. The rates of LDLc/TC and LDLc/HDLc were greater in HI group than in LO group, but the rates of HDLc/TC, and HDLc/LDLc were greater in LO group than in HI group instead. It is possible that we might divide the HI group from the LO group if we ascaied these scrum lipids after two months of high-cholesterol diet. The mechanisms underlying this large differential response of the serum cholesterol to dietary cholesterol had been discussed.
