Mature antarctic krill (Euphausia superba Dana) grown from eggs in the laboratory

Fertilized eggs obained from female krill in Antarctic waterswere transported to the Australian Antarctic Division in Tasmania,the eggs were successfully developed to larval, juvenile, subadultand finally mature adult stages in the laboratory.
