Effect of acute stress on glucose resorption by an isolated loop of the small intestine

In the experiments on rats acute stress is found to accelerate glucose resorption by isolated loop of small intestine in situ and it probably depends on increased level of corticosteroids. Glucose resorption changes in small intestine is of adaptable character during stress.
