Abstract: | Paederus fuscipes Curt., a common and widely distributed insect throughout the world, was found to be an aggressive leafhopper predator in rice fields in West Malaysia. Studies were conducted to determine natural field density levels, host preferences, feeding patterns, behavior, and biology. Feeding on leafhopper nymphs appears to be density-dependent within certain population levels. |
