Abstract: | Localization of lipids in the CNS is considered from an historical perspective. General consideration is given to the identification and separation of different parts of the CNS and to the recognition and detection of lipids. Problems associated with each of these aspects are noted. More treatment is given to the localization of gangliosides and the contributions of Leon Wolfe are highlighted.Special issue dedicated to Dr. Leon S. Wolfe. |
