| Abstract: | Carbon dioxide assimilation by duckweed, S. polyrrhiza, was measured using a glass assimilation box and 14C-NaHCO3, under different pH conditions of water. S. polyrrhiza assimilates carbon dioxide from both air and water. The carbon assimilation from air is comparable to the assimilation from water under normal pH conditions. |
