Abstract: | The production of extracellular lipase byAspergillus tamarii isolated from seeds ofNigella sativa and its compatibility with commercial detergents were studied. Optimal conditions for production were: a cultivation period
of 6d, cultivation temperature 30°C, pH 7.0 (0.1 mol/L phosphate buffer) and 0.15% olive oil. The crude enzyme showed a high
level of pH stability but was not thermostable. The enzyme retained more than 90% of its activity in the presence of some
commercial detergents. |
