Abstract:
The Lower Cretaceous (Albian) Griman Creek Fm. at Lightning Ridge, New South Wales, Australia, has yielded seven partial femora of hypsilophodontid ornithopods. Six of these femora represent a member of the hypsilophodont group of the Hypsilophodontidae. Similarities of the structure of the medial condyle and popliteal region indicate reference to Fulgurotherium australe. The seventh femur appears to derive from a second, unnamed hypsilophodontid species. These specimens confirm the presence of hypsilophodontids in Australia.
