Abstract:Rape mesophyll cells can be de-differentiated to non-differenti ated cells with divisibility on suitable callus culture medium. Due to cytoplasm rapid increase, their vacuole membranes often occure endocytosis and form some cytoplasm protruberances extending to central vacuoles. Therefore, the central vacuoles continuously become small in size, finally, they completely disappear. Thereafter, many small vacuoles occure in the cytoplasm. These small vacuoles differe from the central vacuoles, their membranes are very stable, endocytosis phenomenon is rare, there not are large quantity of granularshaped, fibrillar-shaped and membrane-shaped material in them, but sometimes there are some electron-desity material in a small quantity of vacuoles. The small vacuoles in de-differentiated cells mainly derive from original central vacuoles, other small vacuoles may derive from endoplasmic reticulum and dictyosomes, but they different in formative ways each there.
