G1m(1) and G1m(2) allotypes in Albanian towns of Calabria |

| Abstract: | The G1m(1) and G1m(2) allotype distribution was analyzed in a population sample from 11 Albanian towns of Calabria. The unusually high frequency of the G1m(1) marker already observed in Calabria as well as the presence of the Gm(2) phenotype were shown. The Calabrian and Albanian populations were similar, but significantly different from other Italian populations. |
