| Abstract: | The history of discovering C4 pathway in C3 plants and the research progress are reviewed; several C4 pathway mechanisms of C3 plants are narrated; the transformation of C3 plant’s hereditary features is discussed according to C4 pathway mechanism and the prospect of this research field is discussed. |
