| Abstract: | In fully developed parts of thalli ofLempholemma botryosum a relatively high number of algal cells is attacked by haustoria. They differ specifically in form and effect from haustoria of otherLempholemma species. Cells of theNostoc phycobiont attacked by hyphae developing into haustoria may divide to give inequal besides equal daughter cells. |
