| Abstract: | Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy was performed on breast cancer cell lines MCF-7, MDA-MB231 and T47D. Proton spectra showed discrepancies of lipid quantity in the different lines. The high resolution lines of lipids were not as intense in the membrane preparations. These results show the potential of NMR spectroscopy to study the involvement of membrane lipids in proliferation, metastasis or drug resistance process. |
