Six species and one subspecies of Codonopsis are described from the Pan Himalaya as new in the present article. They are Codonopsis bomiensis, Ccampanulata, Celliptica, Chemisphaerica, Clixianica, Creflexa, and Ccardiophylla Diels ex Kom. subsp. megaphylla. A new fossil genus and combination of gigantopterides is reported. The specimen was collected from the Late Paleozoic "Longtan Formation” of Jiangle county, Fujian Province of China. It was originally determined to the genus Gigantonoclea and named as G. cardiophylla Zhu et Geng by one of the present authors and his colleague some times ago. In view of its venation being trinervious and that the incompletely duplicated net-like veins are close to those of gigantopterides and the leaf bears sori on its back. Upon reconsideration it was renamed by the authors as Trinerviopteris cardiophyUa (Zhu et Geng) Zhu gen. et comb. nov. At the same time. the authors have confirmed that it is a kind of true fern. In association with the new taxon there are Sphenophyllum emarginatum, Bowmanites lascus, Lobatannularia lingulata, Chansitheca pcdaeosilvana, Ch. cf. kidstonii, Pecopteris anderssonii, P. echinata, P. taiyuanensis, P. unita, Danaeites mirabilis, Fascipteris densata, Cladophlebis permica, Compsopteris contracta, Gigantonoclea chingii, G. fukienensis, G. sp., G. sp., Gigantopteris cordata, G. nicotianaefolia, Taenioteris serrulata, T. szei, T. tingii, Radicites sp. 1, R. sp. 2 etc. The present flora is more simplified than the others which discovered from different areas in the same geological time. Based on the grouping of these fossil plants, the geological era of the present flora must be late Early Permian to early Late Permian. Moreover it is emphasized that the gigantopterides is only but an artificial compound taxon not only including seed ferns but also true ferns and others.  相似文献

Meiotic and mitotic chromosomes of 13 species of Salvia from Argentina were studied. Most of our data are new counts but some, mainly from cultivated species, confirm previous reports or represent numbers which are different from those cited previously. Only Salvia gilliesii Benth. and the introduced species S. coccinea Juss., S. farinacea Benth., S. involucrata Cav. and S. microphylla Kunth are diploids. S. cardiophylla Benth., S. procurrens Benth. , S. splendens Roem. & Schult. and S. uliginosa Benth. are tetraploids; S. stachydifolia Benth. is hexaploid; and S. guaranitica A. St.-Hil., S. pallida Benth. and S. rypara Briq. are octoploids. The basic number most frequently found is x  = 11, but two species, S. procurrens and S. uliginosa , have x  = 13. S. farinacea has x  = 10 but this species is a widespread cultivated plant, not native in this area. Seven of the studied species showed one to three B chromosomes. We discuss some systematic and evolutionary aspects of the genus in the light of the cytogenetic data, the relationships between geographical distribution and chromosome numbers in relation to levels of ploidy and basic chromosome numbers, and make comparisons with some of the different taxonomic sections.  © 2003 The Linnean Society of London, Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society , 2003, 141 , 483–490.  相似文献

心叶三脉蕨(新属,新组合)及大羽羊齿类的分类位置   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
报道大羽羊齿类中的一真蕨植物新属和新组合。标本采自福建将乐县晚古生代的“龙潭组”。曾以脉序介于重网状和单网状之间,鉴定为心叶单网羊齿(新种)(Gigantonoclea cardio-phylla Zhu etGeng)。重新研究后,根据其三出脉和不完全的重网状脉式,又发现了其孢子囊群,从营养叶看,可归入大羽羊齿类,介于大羽羊齿和单网羊齿之间,从孢子囊群看,则肯定是真蕨,重新命名为心叶三脉蕨(新属、新组合)[Trinerviopteris cardiophylla (Zhu et Geng)Zhu gen.et com b.nov.]。与之同时发现的其它植物有:Sphenophyllum em arginatum 、Bow -m anites laxus、Lobatannularia lingulata、Chansitheca palaeosilvana、Ch. cf. kidstonii、Pecopteris anderssonii、P.echinata、P.? taiyuanensis、P.unita、Danaeites m irabilis、Fascipterisdensata、Cladophlebis ? perm ica、C  相似文献
