Spermiogenesis in Castrada cristatispina begins with the formation of a zone of differentiation containing two centrioles with associated striated rootlets and an intercentriolar body between them. The centrioles give rise to two parallel, free flagella of the Trepaxonemata 9 + '1' pattern, growing out in opposite directions. Spermatids undergo a latero-ventral rotation of the flagella and a subsequent disto-proximal rotation of centrioles, and a distal cytoplasmic projection appears. The former rotation involves the compression of a row of microtubules and allows the recognition of a ventral side and a dorsal side. At the end of the differentiation, the centrioles and cortical microtubules lie parallel to the sperm axis. The modifications of the intercentriolar body and the migration of the nucleus and the centrioles toward the distal projection are described. The mature spermatozoon of C. cristatispina is filiform, tapered at both ends and shares several features with the other Rhabdocoela gametes. Nevertheless, the posterior extremity is capped by an electron-dense material. A gradient between mitochondria and dense bodies exists along the sperm axis. This study has enable us a phylogenetic approach of the Rhabdocoela through a comparison of the ultrastructural features of C. cristatispina with the other Rhabdocoela taxa. We propose the disto-proximal rotation of centrioles as a synapomorphy of the Rhabdocoela.  相似文献

记述了中国涡虫纲单肠目1新纪录科达氏科达氏涡虫属1新种,即中国达氏涡虫Dalyellia sinensis sp.nov..新种的主要鉴别特征是:表皮下有许多单细胞绿藻Chlorella sp.,体表呈绿色;体长2 200 μm,体中部宽475μm,几丁质阴茎长178 μm,柄2根,柄长100μm,柄宽13~15 μm,两柄间距188 μm,分支2条,呈心形排列,阴茎上有几丁质刺22根,分支末端的刺长是基部刺长的1/5.标本保存在深圳大学生命科学学院形态学研究室.  相似文献

A morphological and taxonomical account of the taxon Rogneda is given. A new interpretation of the stylet morphology is presented and a new terminology pertaining to these hard parts is proposed. All known species are discussed and additional information is provided when necessary. Seven new species are described. Five of these are from the Mediterranean: R. colpaerti sp. nov. , R. licyae sp. nov. , R. schaereri sp. nov. , R. valckei sp. nov. and R. vangronsveldi sp. nov . R. verveckeni sp. nov . is from the Atlantic coast of Spain (Galicia). The seventh, R. martensi sp. nov. , is from Indonesia and is the first species of Rogneda to be found outside the Northeast Atlantic and the Mediterranean. All new species can be recognized based on the morphology of the stylets in the male system. A discussion on the similarities and differences of the 22 species is provided, resulting in the grouping of the species into seven morphological groups: the capulata -group, the falcata -group, the hibernica -group, the polyrhabdota -group, the steueri -group, the tripalmata -group and the westbladi -group. R. minuta cannot be placed into any of these groups and therefore stands alone within the taxon. 中国小达氏涡虫和大变杰氏涡虫的生物学特性   总被引:9,自引:2,他引:7  
对单肠目(Rhabdocoela)达氏科(Dalyelliidae)的中国小达氏涡虫(Microdalyellia sinensis)和大变杰氏涡虫(Gieysztoria macrovariata9-spinosa)进行了长期饲养与观察,了解和比较这两种涡虫的习性、繁殖、发育及组织学特点。结果表明,中国小达氏涡虫比大变杰氏涡虫反应敏捷,生殖器官的形态位置有明显区别;中国小达氏涡虫产卵周期约5 d,每期产卵10.5枚;大变杰氏涡虫产卵周期约10 d,每期产卵22.3枚;两种涡虫卵孵化期约60 h,发育成熟期9 d左右;最后探讨了卵胚非正常发育与雌雄生殖器官成熟期,以及涡虫的淡水生态学意义等问题。  相似文献

Karyology and reproductive biology of a marine population of the species complex Gyratrix hermaphroditus, from Roscoff (Brittany, France), have been investigated. A diploid complement of six chromosomes was determined from spermatogonial mitotic figures. One chromosome pair is metacentric, the second is intermediate between meta- and submetacentric, and the third is subtelocentric.In this population, regular meiosis occurs in both female and male germ lines, and the animals reproduce only by means of amphimictic eggs. Certain specimens of the population showed the elimination of one of the three bivalents during the first meiotic division in spermatogenesis. It seems that such animals produce normal and aneuploid sperm simultaneously; the aneuploid sperm are not capable of fertilization.The Roscoff population differs in its karyotype (2n = 6) from freshwater populations, which are either diploid (2n = 4) or polyploid (3n = 6, 4n = 8). These results suggest that aneuploidy played a role in the differentiation of freshwater populations from an originally marine species complex.  相似文献

Two new turbellarian species, Gieysztoria shantouensis Zhang, Li Wang, sp. nov. and G. huizhouensis Zhang, Wu Wang, sp. nov. are described, which were collected from ditches in Shantou and Dongjiang River, Huizhou of Guangdong Province, respectively. G. macrovariata(Weise, 1942) was firstly recorded in China. All specimens examined were deposited in National Zoological Museum, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China.  相似文献
