The effect of exogenous brassinosteroids (BR) on the flowering induction of Pharbitis nil was examined. Generally plants treated with brassinolide and castasterone form less number of flowers than control plants, but degree of flowering inhibition was depended on the concentration and the method of BR application as well as the length of the inductive dark period. In plants regenerated from sub-induced apices treated with brassinolide at concentration of 1 and 10 M the flower formation was inhibited completely.  相似文献

When brassinolide was added at 17 ng l–1 to Taxus chinensis cell suspension cultures, the paclitaxel content was increased by over 100% to 580 g g–1 dry weight. Brassinolide may therefore be a novel regulator of paclitaxel biosynthesis.  相似文献

In vitro regeneration of sweet pepper (Capsicum annuum L. cvs Jupiter and Pimiento Perfection) has been performed via direct organogenesis. The resulting shoot-buds were placed on media containing 24-epi-brassinolide (EBR) 0.1 μM, a plant steroid lactone, in the presence or absence of zeatin 9.1 μM plus GA3 5.2 μM for further stem elongation. Different responses to these treatments were recorded depending upon the protocols used and the genotypes tested. It appears that EBR does not always act directly on stem elongation but may be an elicitor and/or an enhancer of elongation in concert with endogenous and other exogenously added growth regulators. Elongated shoots were easily rooted with alpha-naphtalenacetic acid 0.5 μM (0.1 mgl-1) and transfered to soil, and following acclimation were taken to maturity in the greenhouse. Summary Experiments were conducted to determine the effects of brassinosteroids on microspore embryogenesis in Brassica species. Two compounds, 24-epibrassinolide (EBR) and brassinolide (BL), were evaluated. An increase in embryogenesis was observed in all Brassica napus lines evaluated, including Topas 4079 and several recalcitrant cultivars: Garrison, Westar, and Allons. Microspore embryogenesis, calculated as the number of embryos at 21 d of culture, was increased in the recalcitrant cultivars up to 12 times that of the control. An increase in microspore embryogenesis was also observed for B. juncea when EBR or BL was added to the culture medium. In constrast, no significant increases in embryogenesis was observed for several other Brassica species evaluated (i.e. B. carinata, B. nigra, and B. rapa). The addition of brassinosteroids to the induction media did not affect the subsequent conversion of the embryos to plantlets, but did appear to influence chromosome doubling.  相似文献

试验采用不同浓度油菜素内酯对毛豆幼苗进行叶面喷施处理,测定其在渍水胁迫下对毛豆营养生长和生理特性的影响。结果表明:采用一定浓度的油菜素内酯处理可以促进苗生长、提高根系活力、叶绿素含量、脯氨酸含量和抑制丙二醛增生、降低细胞膜透性,增强了毛豆幼苗对渍水环境的抵抗能力。从叶面喷施后对毛豆的营养指标和生理指标进行综合判断可知:在试验的范围内,以1mL/L油菜素内酯的处理效果为最佳。  相似文献

在人工气候箱中模拟寒潮对香蕉幼苗造成的低温冷害 ,研究脱落酸、多效唑和油菜素内酯对低温胁迫期和低温胁迫恢复期香蕉幼苗叶片过氧化物酶和相对电导率的影响。试验表明 ,叶面喷施适量脱落酸、多效唑和油菜素内酯能够提高低温胁迫期和恢复期香蕉叶片的过氧化物酶活性并且降低叶片相对电导率。其最适浓度脱落酸为 2 0~ 2 5mg/ L;多效唑为 15~ 30 m g/ L;油菜素内酯为 0 .9~ 1.5m g/ L。  相似文献

Soybean hypocotyl segments were treated in the dark with 24-epibrassinolide (BR) at a range of concentrations for different durations. The maximum effect on adventitious root induction, both in terms of number and length was obtained at very low concentration (0.0001 ppm) of BR applied for 8 h. Higher concentrations were supraoptimal unless applied for a shorter period (4 h). BR was ineffective when applied at low concentration in continuous light.  相似文献
