The four O-H bands of ascorbic acid could be assigned by means of infrared investigations. It could be shown by electron spin resonance and nuclear magnetic resonance measurements that the radical sodium ascorbate is formed by a cyclic side-chain structure resulting in a loss of C(6)-OH and C(3)-OH. The C(2) = C(3) double bond is still maintained as could be shown by infrared and ultraviolet absorption spectroscopy. In the case of complete oxidation of ascorbic acid to dehydroascorbic acid, C(6)-OH is reestablished (indicating the reopening of the furanoid ring), while C(2)-OH as well as the C(2) = C(3) double bond have disappeared due to the deprotonation of C(2)-OH and C(3)-OH. In the case of isoascorbic acid and its radical potassium isoascorbate similar results are obtained with one distinct difference: in the case of isoascorbic acid, C(2)-OH does not appear while C(3)-OH exhibits a shoulder.  相似文献

The rat brain thermal fields were studied using the thermoencephaloscopic technique in three experimental conditions: the genetic catalepsy (GC rat strain), cataleptic phase of an audiogenic epileptic seizure (Krushinski?-Molodkina strain), and pharmacological catalepsy produced by haloperidol injection (Wistar rats). Irrespective of the experimental conditions, the state of catalepsy, accompanied by a decrease in the muscle tone and inhibition of motor reactions, was characterized by total asymmetric cooling of the brain cortex with the dominance of the right hemisphere. Temperature difference between the parieto-occipital areas of the right and left hemispheres reached 0.3-0.6 degree C.  相似文献

The paper discusses the seasonality of Melosira-plankton in Ladoga and Onega Lakes and its comparison with that in other large northern lakes. The periodicity of Melosira in dimictic temperate lakes is mainly connected with periods of turbulence of the lake water in spring and autumn. The role of Melosira in the primary productivity of great northern lakes is important both for the oligotrophic phase and in the case of eutrophication. In very advanced states of eutrophication the spring crop of Melosira-plankton may be the cause of oxygen depletion in the hypolimnion.  相似文献

Alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) activity was determined by a highly sensitive method. The enzyme activity in the blood serum was similar in alcohol and water preferring rats, while ADH activity in the liver of alcohol preferring rats was higher than in water preferring rats. In rats, chronically intoxicated with ethanol, ADH activity in the liver decreased, while in the serum it was twice higher than the normal level. It is suggested that high level of blood ADH is not connected with the rate of enzyme synthesis in the liver.  相似文献

A combined immunological study of cell-mediated and humoral immunity factors in sportsmen at the period of important competitions was made. The effect of the maximum bearable load was found to lead to the formation of a great number of universal rosette-forming lymphocytes and neutrophils. In the control group their number did not exceed 1-4% of the total population of these cells. Simultaneously, the suppression of the phagocytic activity of neutrophils and some of the humoral factors of systemic and local immunity with the parallel development of compensating processes were recorded.  相似文献

The conditions for obtaining crypt cells from ground squirrel small intestine were chosen which allow flow-through cytofluorometric analysis of the DNA synthesis of this tissue. DNA synthesis was found to be greatly reduced in the intestinal crypt cells of ground squirrel during deep hibernation in torpid animals, in animals during spontaneous arousals and in animals prevented from hibernation. The conclusion is made about endogenous control of the DNA synthesis in the cells of true hibernators.  相似文献
