The authors prepared under experimental-industrial conditions paper indicator systems for the express identification of microbes, including carbohydrate discs (by the method of Nikitin et al.), and newly worked out types for the determination of the activity of cytochromoxidase, urease, indol formation, and indicator amino acid decarboxylases (lysin, ornithin, arginine). The use of paper indicator discs proved to be expedient for rationalization of laboratory diagnosis of bacterial intestinal infections. 相似文献

Crataegus curvisepala Lindm., C. laevigata (Poiret) DC. and C. monogyna Jacq. (Rosaceae) form hybrid complexes in Denmark due to introgression. C. palmstruchii Lindm. seems to be variously introgressed individuals of C. laevigata. C. eremitagensis Raunk., C. raavadensis Raunk. and C. schumacheri Raunk. apparently belong to C. curvisepala x laevigata. The authors studied fused auditory image (FAI) movement trajectories under conditions of direct nonsimultaneous masking. This movement was created by a gradual change in a dichotically presented series of clicks with interaural differences in stimulation from 0 to ±700 s or from ±700 to 0 s. Binaurally presented transmissions of wide-band noise served as maskers. The location and length of the trajectories were evaluated without a masker and with five values of the time lag between the signal beginning and masker end. When the test signal duration was 200 ms, the length of the trajectories was 33–44° without a masker. In the first test group, this trajectory lay close to the median line of the head without a masker (irrespective of the movement direction) and moved away from it under masking conditions. When the FAI moved from the median line towards the right or left ear, the initial part of the trajectory was masked; when the movement direction was opposite, the final part was masked. In the second group, the trajectories were located near the ears when the FAI moved from either ear and shifted towards the median line as a result of masking. When the movement direction was opposite, they were close to the median line and shifted towards the ear under masking conditions. When the FAI moved along all trajectories, their initial parts were masked. 相似文献

Urbanization, one of the most extreme land‐use alterations, is currently spreading, and the number of species confronting these changes is increasing. However, contradictory results of previous studies impede a clear interpretation of which selective pressure (nest predation or food limitation) is more important in urban habitats compared with natural situations, and whether birds can confront them by adjusting their life‐history strategies. We investigated life‐history syndromes of three common blackbird (Turdus merula) populations differing in their human influence (urban, rural, and woodland). We analysed daily nest predation and nestling starvation rates to assess the relative importance of these selection pressures in each habitat. Simultaneously, several life‐history traits were investigated to determine if T. merula seem adapted to their main source of selection. Food limitation was more important in the city, whereas nest predation was the most important selective force in the forest. The rural habitat was characterized by an intermediate influence of these two factors. Life‐history syndromes, as the covariation of a suite of traits, confirmed these results because T. merula seem well adapted to the main cause of selection in each habitat. Emotional assessment of short fragments from pieces of chamber music was studied in patients in steady elated mood (hypomaniac). Six fragments, assessed by healthy subjects as emotionally positive, neutral or negative were used. The examined subjects were shown to be capable for an emotional assessment of the musical fragments. The most pronounced difference of the examined patients from healthy subjects and depressive patients examined earlier was the predominance of neutral assessments in hypomaniacs. 相似文献
