The rate of Mg2+, Ca2+-ATPase reaction and ATP-dependent Ca2+ accumulation in a preparation of plasma membranes from brain synaptosomes increases 60 min following whole-body X-irradiation of rats with a dose of 0.21 C/kg, a calcium sensitivity of both processes being increased. A unidirectional change in their kinetics indicates the early radiosensitivity of Ca2+ transfer systems in the brain synaptosome membranes. There is an increase in the availability of SH-groups of membrane preparation proteins for SH-reagents and in the sensitivity of Mg2+, Ca2+-ATPase reaction and ATP-dependent Ca2+ accumulation to trifluoperazine, a calmodulin inhibitor. Both processes lose their ability to be activated by exogenous calmodulin. It is suggested that at an early stage of radiation affection, a change occurs in the molecular organization of the ATPase-calmodulin membrane complex in plasma membranes of rat brain synaptosomes.  相似文献

Typical errors in teeth roentgenography reproduced in experiment, indicate that considerable disproportional distortions of images of anatomical structures which are decisive for radiodiagnosis, may occur in these cases. These distortions influence the accuracy of assessment of the condition of periapical tissues, marginal parts of the alveolar process, cavity sizes, and the actual end of the root of the canal. Standardization of intraoral roentgenography is based on a strict position of the patient's head, angle of inclination and alignment of a tube. Specialized P3-1 film should be used. Its processing should strictly correspond to the instructions of a manufacturing factory otherwise the quality of an image is deteriorated and an effective equivalent dose on the vital organs is increased.  相似文献

The results of treating 322 patients with various forms of meningococcal infection accepted to a hospital within a year are presented. The patients were divided into 3 groups by the character of etiotropic therapy. The patients of group I were treated with benzylpenicillin and those of group 2 were treated with levomycetin sodium succinate. Group 3 included the patients, the therapy of whom with the above two antibiotics failed and they were subjected to treatment with cefazolin, cefotaxime, amikacin and other broad spectrum antibiotics. Benzylpenicillin generally proved to be the drug of choice in the antibacterial therapy of meningococcal infection. In comparison to levomycetin (chloramphenicol) it provide more rapid clinical recovery of the patients and normalization of the indices of the cerebrospinal fluid. Only failure of benzylpenicillin therapy was considered as an indication to the broad-spectrum antibiotics to be in the complex treatment of the patients. As additional methods for estimating the efficacy of antibacterial therapy it was recommended to employ calculation of the integral indices of hemograms (the leukocyte index of intoxication and the hematologic index of intoxication).  相似文献

The treatment of human peripheral blood monocytes with serotonin at concentrations 10(-3) and 10(-5) M over 20 minutes decreases a zymosan-induced luminol-dependent chemiluminescence of cells, whereas a 5 minutes treatment with serotonin at the concentration of 10(-5) M increases the chemoluminescence. The correlated change in monocyte capacity of secreting hydrogen peroxide has been registered. Serotonin activates, to a little extent, the monocyte capacity of phagocytizing the opsonised sheep erythrocyte. The maximum increase (2-3 times) of intracellular cAMP content and the decrease in cytosol cAMP-binding capacity are registered after a 5 minutes incubation. The lowering of the share of irreversibly bound in vitro cAMP under the influence of serotonin may suggest a preferable binding of cyclic nucleotide in vivo by regulatory subunits of cAMP-dependent protein kinase I.  相似文献

The interaction of epithelial cells was studied in mixed cultures by phase contrast, time-lapse microcinematography, transmission and scanning electron microscopy. Epithelial cells, united into monolayer sheets with smooth apical surfaces, can be competing for substrate lamellae at the lower surfaces and force out each other from the substrate up to full elimination. The competition of cells for territory may be an important factor in morphogenesis in vivo.  相似文献

The effect of cytochalasin D, which is known to disrupt specifically actin cytoskeleton, on DNA replication was studied. The incubation of cultured mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEF), cells of Balb/3T3 line and cells of minimally transformed clones 12 MC and 6 st/T CAK-7 line with cytochalasin D leads to inhibition of DNA synthesis. A complete inhibition of labeled index in MEF culture was observed after an 8 day incubation in cytochalasin D. Part of cells of clones 12 MC and 6 st/T were insensitive to cytochalasin D and continued to enter to S-phase even after a 10 day incubation. The transfer of cells into a fresh medium leads to a rapid restoration of DNA synthesis. Strongly transformed L cells were almost insensitive to cytochalasin D. Thus, the reorganization of actin cytoskeleton caused by cytochalasin D can inhibit the cycle of normal and minimally transformed cells. In the course of neoplastic progression, in the transformed cells there is a loss of dependence of cell proliferation on microfilament system.  相似文献

The total electrical response and action potentials of separate neurons in the cochlear nuclei in Vespertilionidae and Rhinolophidae were investigated. Maximum sensitivity to ultrasound was recorded in Vespertilionidae in the frequency ranges 10–30 and 70–80 kc/sec, and in Rhinolophidae in the frequency ranges 10–30 and 84–86 kc/sec. Mininum off-response thresholds were observed in Vespertilionidae in the range 50–60 kc/sec, and in Rhinolophidae in the range 78–80 kc/sec. The areas of responses by neurons in the cochlear nuclei in both species of bats were similar in shape to those recorded in the same structure in other animals. An exception was provided by Rhinolophidae, in which three peculiar types of neurons were observed: 1) neurons whose response area lay in the frequency ranges up to 78 kc/sec or from 80 to 90 kc/sec; 2) neurons responding in the range 40–90 kc/sec, but not sensitive to stimuli with a fill frequency of 78–80 kc/sec; and 3) neurons whose response area lay in the range 78–80 kc/sec, but in which the character of the response changed from tonic to phasic when there was a change in the fill frequency of the stimulus. Maximum selectivity with regard to fill frequency of stimulus was observed in the neurons of Rhinolophidae in the frequency range 70–90 kc/sec.The term "fill frequency" can be rendered as frequency — Consultants Bureau.A.
