Summary The influence of moisture content and temperature during storage of grain on the formation of Fusarium metabolites was studied. Naturally and artificially contaminated barley grain samples were stored at 15%, 25%, and 30% moisture contents, and at temperatures of + 5°C + 25°C, and + 30°C. Time of storage varied between one week and six months and the occurrence of Fusarium species and metabolites was analysed. The only Fusarium metabolite detected was zearalenone. The extent of Fusarium contamination decreased during storage whilst the concentration of zearalenone increased. To avoid the danger of mycotoxicoses, grains must be dryed immediately after harvest and then stored at a low temperature. 相似文献

This paper reports seven species found in Shirabad Cave located in the western part of Golestan Province and two species found nearby. Three families: Anyphaenidae, Segestriidae and Theridiosomatidae, and one species, Metellina merianae (Scopoli, 1763) are recorded from Iran for the first time. Two species are described as new: Tegenaria zamanii Marusik & Omelko, sp.n. (♀) and Segestria mirshamsii Marusik & Omelko, sp.n. (♀). Four species: Lepthyphantes iranicus Saaristo & Tanasevitch, 1996, Metellina merianae, Octonoba yesoensis (Saito, 1934) and Pholcus sp. are illustrated. Uloborus georgicus Mcheidze, 1997 from Eastern Georgia is synonymized with Octonoba yesoensis. Truncated trkB.T1 (T1) neurotrophin receptor inhibits full-length trkB.TK+ (TK+) signaling. At least two possible mechanisms have been proposed for this action: T1 could trap the ligand or function as a dominant negative receptor. To differentiate between these possibilities we have studied survival of serum-deprived PC12-trkB cells stably expressing TK+. PC12-trkB cells were observed to display constitutive trkB kinase activity which leads to survival of a cell subpopulation in the absence of added brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and serum. Exogenous BDNF significantly increased cell survival, and this increase was inhibited by BDNF neutralizing antibody. The antibody treatment had no effect on the constitutive TK+ activity. Transfected T1 completely inhibited survival by BDNF or constitutive trkB kinase activity in PC12-trkB cells similarly to tyrosine kinase inhibitor K252a. In addition, T1 coimmunoprecipitated with TK+ and inhibited its autophosphorylation by BDNF. These data suggest that truncated T1 inhibits TK+ signaling by dominant negative action. 相似文献

Aim
Interleukin-10 (IL-10) has been associated with wheezing and asthma in children and the genetic variation of the IL-10 cytokine production may be linked to post-bronchiolitis lung function. We used impulse oscillometry (IOS) to evaluate the associations of IL10 polymorphisms with lung function at a median age of 6.3 years in children hospitalised for bronchiolitis before six months of age.Methods
We performed baseline and post-exercise IOS on 103 former bronchiolitis patients. Data on single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) of IL10 rs1800896 (–1082G/A), rs1800871 (–819C/T), rs1800872 (–592C/A) were available for 99 children and of IL10 rs1800890 (–3575T/A) for 98 children.Results
IL10 rs1800896, rs1800871 and rs1800872 combined genotype AA+CT+CA and carriage of haplotype ATA, respectively, were associated with higher resistance and lower reactance in baseline IOS in adjusted analyses. At IL10 rs1800890, the A/A-genotype and carriers of A-allele were associated with lower reactance in baseline IOS. There were no significant associations between the studied SNPs and airway hyper-reactivity to exercise.Conclusion
Low-IL-10-producing polymorphisms in the IL-10 encoding gene were associated with obstructive lung function parameters, suggesting an important role for IL-10 in development of lung function deficit in early bronchiolitis patients. 相似文献6.

1. Neurotrophins and serotonin have both been implicated in the pathophysiology of depression and in the mechanisms of antidepressant treatments. 2. Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) influences the growth and plasticity of serotonergic (5-HT) neurons via the activation of trkB receptor. 3. Transgenic mice overexpressing the full-length trkB receptor (TrkB.TK+) and showing increased trkB activity in brain, and their wild type (WT) littermates, were injected with the antidepressant fluoxetine or saline, and analyzed behaviorally in the forced swimming test paradigm and biochemically for the concentrations of brain monoamines and their metabolites. 4. The TrkB.TK+ mice displayed increased latency to immobility in the forced swim test, suggesting resistance to behavioral despair. 5. Fluoxetine increased the latency to immobility in wild-type mice to a similar level as seen in the trkB.TK+ mice after saline treatment, but had no further behavioral effect in the swimming behavior of the trkB.TK+ mice. 6. Only minor differences in the levels of brain monoamines and their metabolites were observed between the transgenic and wild-type mice. 7. These data, together with other recent observations, suggest that trkB activation may play a critical role in the behavioral responses to antidepressant drugs in mice. 相似文献

Nisin-producing Lactococcus lactis cells protect their own cytoplasmic membrane by specific immunity proteins, NisF/E/G and NisI, a transporter complex and a lipoprotein, respectively. A portion of NisI is secreted to the medium in a lipid-free form (LF-NisI). Here, kinetics of the interaction between nisin and LF-NisI was examined by surface plasmon resonance analysis. The affinity constant KD for the interaction was calculated to be in the micromolar range. Contribution of the secreted LF-NisI to nisin immunity was studied by replacing the lipoprotein specific nisI signal sequence with a secretion signal of non-lipoprotein origin. Secretion of LF-NisI in NisF/E/G-expressing L. lactis strain NZ9840 increased significantly its nisin tolerance suggesting that the lipid-free form of NisI could have a supportive role in nisin immunity. 相似文献

Until recently only 33 species of spiders had been known from Iraq. New material collected in northern Iraq reveals 20 species, 13 genera and six families new to the country. One species, Pterotricha arzhantsevi sp. n. is described as new to science. Comparative figures are provided for seven species; the 54 species currently known from Iraq are listed and their occurrence in neighbouring Iran and Turkey is shown.

Two anti-CD3 antibodies and their Fab/F(ab')2 fragments were compared with regard to their requirement for secondary signals and generations of intracellular messengers. The anti-CD3 antibody BMA030 was found to require monocyte contact to elicit T-cell mitogenesis. Cross-linking by plastic-bound goat anti-mouse antibodies (panning) failed to activate T cells, even in the presence of recombinant IL-1 or IL-2. In contrast, crosslinking of the anti-CD3 antibody Leu4 or Leu4 fragments was mitogenic in monocyte-free cultures. Measurements of intracellular Ca2+ ([Ca2+]i) and generation of inositol phosphates revealed that binding (+/- panning) of BMA030, Leu4, and their F(ab')2 fragments generated similar amounts of intracellular messengers and thus failed to explain the different responsiveness to passive crosslinking. Since the generation of these messengers was not necessarily followed by proliferation but was always observed when mitogenesis occurred, we conclude that the elevation of [Ca2+]i and the production of inositol phosphates are required but not sufficient to trigger mitogenesis. 相似文献

Different effects of IL-2 addition or antibody crosslinking on T-cell subset stimulation by CD3 antibodies 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The effect of exogenous recombinant interleukin-2 (IL-2) or of antibody crosslinking on the activation of human T-cell subsets by IgG2a (OKT3/BMA030), IgG1 (Leu4 and UCHT1), or IgG2b (BMA031) anti-T3 antibodies (CD3) was investigated. In so-called nonresponder cultures as well as in monocyte-depleted cell cultures addition of IL-2 increased the CD3-induced activation and proliferation of T4 and T8 cell subsets. Relatively more T8 than T4 cells were stimulated by antibody binding and IL-2. Crosslinking the cell-bound CD3 antibodies by plastic bound goat anti-mouse antibodies activated both T-cell subsets optimally and increased the IL-2 production of the IgG1-CD3 stimulated cultures. The data show that T cells (T8 greater than T4) can be stimulated by CD3 antibody binding and IL-2, but that crosslinking the cell-bound CD3 antibodies is crucial for optimal T4 cell stimulation and IL-2 production. 相似文献
